"Brimming with smart, insightful ballads and small-town, big-dream tales, Terri Hendrix's voice, intimate and expressive, is reason enough to keep listening, and the combination of Lloyd Maines' musicianship and production savvy seals the deal," says the Washington Post of the Texas duo's singular mix of folk, country and roots rock. Long supported by a dedicated grassroots fan base, Hendrix studied opera before dropping out to milk goats in exchange for guitar lessons. She honed her chops on the Texas open-mic circuit until she met up with famed producer and multi-instrumentalist Lloyd Maines (Terry Allen, Dixie Chicks) in 1998 to record her second album, Wilory Farm. Since then, the partnership has resulted in a string of discs, laudatory reviews in publications ranging from Mojo to Billboard, and bookings at major folk festivals around the world. The duo's ninth and latest album, The Spiritual Kind, was released in August.

"It's just an honor to be standing in the same room with an artist of Lloyd Maines' stature."
